IVIR Inc. was awarded the DoD DHP Joint En Route Care Training System of Systems (JETS) contract. This is a System of Systems Architecture for a Joint Medical Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (Med-CATT) with focus on patient hand-offs and patient transfers. The architecture will be capable of incorporating a combination of integrated commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), research initiatives, future technologies and modeling and simulation advancements to accomplish training missions. A system of systems architecture will allow for the provision of training across the expanded continuum of care (for both individuals and teams) on how to more effectively manage patient hand-offs and transfers to improve patient outcomes by reducing medical errors and adverse events.
