IVIR Inc. welcomes David J. Litteral, CSM, U.S. Army (Retired) as a Principal Investigator (PI). Dave brings more than three decades of service in the US Army as a Combat Medic to our team. Dave has 32 years of service in the U.S. Army Medical Department (AMEDD), throughout his career he performed a variety of teaching duties to include PI of Flight Medic XXI and an initiator of the Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) program. Dave will be instrumental in IVIR’s current and future programs as we advance medical education through the use of modeling and simulation.
Dave has a Master of Arts in Military History, and is a PhD (Psychology) Candidate planning to defend this Fall. He has additional background in educational analysis, EMT-Paramedic, veteran affairs, military operational experience in Korea, Germany, Honduras, and Iraq. Dave is a graduate of the Colorado Emergency Managers’ Academy and had experience conducting county-wide pandemic response training.
IVIR’s current and future programs will benefit from Dave’s expertise as we advance medical education through the use of modeling and simulation.
Married to Charlene for nearly 40 years, two of their three children have followed Dave’s calling to serve in the military.
