IVIRs Ray Shuford began his career with Loral Data Systems (LDS) and held various management positions within manufacturing as well as serving as program manager for various programs for the US Navy, US Air Force, and NASA. In 1996, with the formation of Medical Education Technologies, Inc. (METI), Ray became a founding employee of METI as vice president holding several executive management responsibilities throughout his tenure until his retirement from METI in April of 2010. In January of 2011, Ray joined IVIR as Vice President of Operations, bringing with him 15 years of experience in patient modeling and simulation encompassing all levels of civilian and military medical education. Ray holds a Bachelors Degree in industrial engineering from N.C. State University.
